In the Marco Polo town of Korčula, the Republic
of Croatia, Mr. Ante Matijaca initiated the idea of designing and building a
replica of the galley which Marco Polo commanded during the sea battle
between Venice and Genova which took place in front of Korcula town in 1298.
The galley of Marco Polo will be an
excellent tourist attraction. It will be a float and used for commercial
purposes. This will give tourists the opportunity to experience the
historical past. On board there will be activities which revive that
particular era, as has been created in other countries which have maritime
traditions.
To make this proposition viable we need in
advance interested and renowned investors who will became an integral part
of this project, with a view to ownership and organiser to this commercial
venture.

"Međunarodni centar
Marko Polo", Korčula, Hrvatska
U Korčuli gradu Marka Pola, Republika Hrvatska, rodila se ideja, u osobi
korčulanina Anta Matijace, o izgradnji replike galije s kojom je u
pomorskoj bitci između Venecije i Đenove 1298. godine po Korčulom
zapovijedao Marko Polo.
Galija Marka Pola bi bila
svojevrsna turistička atrakcija, ali prvenstveno plovilo koje bi se
koristilo u komercijalne svrhe, omogućavajući turistima vraćanje u
vrijeme davne prošlosti davajući galiji razne sadržaje, kao što se radi
i u drugim zemljama pomorske tradicije.
Pošto ovakav zahtvat nije moguće
realizirati bez unaprijed poznatog i ozbiljnog poslovnog partnera -
nositelja posla i budućeg vlasnika, kao i organizatora komercijalnog
korištenja, ovim putem obavještavamo sve ozbiljne interesante domaće i
strane među poslovnim ljudima naročito Korčulanima u Hrvatskoj i svijedu
da interes za ovakav poduhvat mogi izraziti na internet stranici.

Es ist eine Idee, in der Stadt von Marko
Polo, Korčula, Kroatien entstanden. Die Idee von Herrn Ante Matijaca
beinhalten Nachbau einer Replik der Galeere, mit welche Marko Polo
Befehlshaber in der Seeschlacht 1298 zwischen Vendig und Genua, in der
Gewässer bei Korcula gekämpft hat.
In erster Linie wäre eine
Attraktion, am wichtigsten aber wäre der kommerzielle Nutzen. Mit
verschidenen Veranstaltungen, die wieder geben damaligen Zeiten darstellen,
bittet sich den Besuchern ein Einmaliges Erlebnis.
Für diese grossartige Idee suchen
